Online check-in opens 48 hours before the scheduled departure time and closes a 1 hour before all flights depart. It's available for both domestic and international flights.

In an exciting development for travellers, Saudi Arabia has recently introduced new air routes connecting the United Kingdom with Jeddah. The inaugural flight from London Gatwick (LGW) to Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) has taken off, marking the commencement of this convenient travel option. Furthermore, it has been announced that starting from julio 2, 2023, flights will also be available from Birmingham International (BHX) to Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED).
These additional departure points from the UK will serve as valuable additions to the existing flight schedule between the two countries. Travellers can now enjoy enhanced connectivity with a broad range of options to explore Saudi Arabia and beyond. With a comprehensive route network encompassing over 90 international destinations, this expansion opens up new possibilities for global exploration and seamless travel experiences.

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has officially announced the news of a new national airline that will serve as another flag carrier for Saudi Arabia. The new airline, Riyadh Air, will provide regional routes aorund the world with over 100 destinations across Asia, Africa and Europe.
Riyadh Air is expected to add $20 billion to Saudi Arabia's non-oil GDP growth whilst also creating over 200,000 jobs directly and indrectly. The devlepment and launch of Riyadh Air may lead to competition between similar regional giants including Saudi, Emirates and Qatar Airways.

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has set a record by operating 688 fights in 24 hours with a schedule accuracy of about 86 percent, the national carrier announced.
The company said the record was attained after it launched the biggest operation in its history within its strategy for the summer which began on junio 7 and will continue until Sept. 7.
Under this strategy, Saudia will operate more than 56,000 domestic and international flights with a capacity of more than 12 million seats in addition to the Haj, Umrah and extra flights during the same period which will together have a combined capacity of about two million seats.
Director General Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasir said the unprecedented operations in a single day was not a fluke but the result of an accumulated work and collective efforts by all the teams involved.
"This is a new achievement which will be added to the accomplishments of the national carrier and is at the same time an incentive to further improve performance," he said.
Jassir revealed that by the year 2020, Saudia will have a fleet of 200 aircraft of various models to cater to the needs and options of the passengers.
The director general on Monday inspected the lounges of King Abdulaziz International Airport including the platforms to serve the guests and the locations of the stationed security forces and people of special needs.
He asked the heads of the operational sectors and the support companies to be present in the field to provide the best of services to the passengers.
