About Servant Air
Servant Air, Inc. is an American regional airline, providing both scheduled domestic passenger flights and charter services. The airline operates throughout Alaska and the USA. The airline’s main base is at Kodiak Airport, on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Servant Air does also have regional bases in Boston, Massachusetts, White Plains, New York, and Manassas Virginia. The airline was initially established as Paklook Air, in 1992, and began service with single engine commuter aircraft. Today, Servant Air connects destinations on Kodiak Island, as well as mainland Alaska.
2020 Update
The airline has been in a state of dormancy, and in Dec2019, the US Department of Transportation (DoT) revoked Servant Air’s interstate certificate, stating dormancy as the reason. DoT has since reversed the revocation of Servant Air’s certificate, which will allow the airline to commence operations in Alaska again later in 2020. Start dates have yet to be announced by the airline.

The Department of Transportation has regulations for passengers check-in, although every airline has its own procedures. Servant Air has yet to announce its check-in procedure for passengers.
Fleet
The airline has stated that it is set to resume operations using its five-seat Piper (single piston) PA-32 aircraft. Historically (as of 2018), the airline’s fleet has included a: Cessna 207, Piper Cherokee, Piper Lance, Britten Norman Islander, Cessna Grand Caravan, King Air 200, and King Air 100.

Servant Air’s main hub is Kodiak State Airport, or Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport, (ADQ) in Kodiak. The airport is located 5 mi southwest of Kodiak. The airport is state-owned and operated by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities.
Other airlines that fly to Kodiak include Alaska Airlines, which flies to Anchorage. Island Air Service is the only other airline to fly from the airport, which also flies regionally within Alaska. Servant air also has secondary hubs at Anchorage International Airport and Washington Executive Airport.
