About Seychelles International Airways

Seychelles International Airways is a private airline operating in the Seychelles, Africa. It is based at Mahé Seychelles International Airport (SEZ), and currently operates cargo flights, with future plans to provide passenger flights. Seychelles International Airways is the rebranded name of Seychelles Airlines (which operated between 2011 and 2018).

Although only currently operating cargo flights, the airline has stated that it hopes to move into passenger operations in the near future, beginning with private charter flights. In the long term, the airline plans to expand with long-haul passenger operations out of Mahe.

Seychelles International Airways has a long-term ambition to also operate long-haul passenger operations out of Mahe. The initial plan of Seychelles International Airways was to operate intercontinental, long-haul passenger flights, connecting the beautiful Seychelles to Europe and mainland China. However, the launch of these operations was postponed due to Covid-19, with no timeline currently in place.

Currently, the airline only operates cargo flights, with no confirmed timeline for the start of passenger operations. Cargo destinations include:

The airline also operates two A320-200Ns, and has reportedly been considering expanding its fleet further.
