Dominican Republic's Sky High to start Embraer ops

Sky High Aviation Services is planning to use its recently acquired E145 to open up flights to Colombia later this quarter.

The Dominican Republic-based carrier acquired HI1024 (msn 145230) in late October last year and is currently using the aircraft on charter services.

According to, the carrier said in a presentation earlier this month that it will add a further three aircraft to its fleet in 2019 as it prepares to expand its route network.

At present, Sky High Aviation operates a single Beech 99, two Beech 1900Ds, and two Jetstream 41s used to connect its Santo Domingo hub with 12 destinations around the Caribbean. However, during the current quarter of the year, Sky High plans (on adding) several more destinations.
