SkyEurope was a low-cost Slovakian airline that operated domestic and international flights between 2002–2009. The airline's main hub was at Bratislava Airport (BTS) and it had a secondary hub at Václav Havel Prague Airport (PRG). SkyEurope offered flights within Europe and flew to over 35 destinations at the tie that it ceased operations.
The airline launched flights in 2002 with a domestic flight between Bratislava and Kosice. Over time, it expanded to fly internationally and at one time had secondary hubs in Krakòw (KRK), Budapest (BUD), Vienna (VIE) and Prague (PRG).
At the time that it ceased operations, SkyEurope operated a fleet of made up entirely of Boeing aircraft. It used planes within the Boeing 737 family, including the -300,-500 and -700 models. Overall, it had 13 aircraft within its fleet.

M.R. Štefánik Airport also known as Bratislava Airport (BTS) is an international airport Slovakia and was the hub airport for SkyEurope. The airport is the main international airport in Slovakia and facilitates flights from several airlines flying around Europe and to parts of the Middle East. The airline has two runways, one terminal and handles more than two million passengers per year.
There are no scheduled airlines that currently use the airport as a hub. However, airlines such as flydubai, Ryanair, Smartwings and Wizz Air fly to/from the airport.
