SkyUp Airlines is a relatively new Ukrainian airline that was founded in 2016 and began flying operations in mayo 2018. It offers charter services and is classed as a low-cost airline.
The airline is based in Ukraine, with 3 base operating airports at Kharkiv International Airport, Boryspil International Airport and Odesa International Airport.
The airline’s plan for their first operational year was to operate international charter flights to popular summer destinations, in addition to scheduled flights to Ukrainian domestic flights. The airline also plans to have some cooperate agreements with Ukraine International Airlines.
Baggage Policy
There are different baggage policies for both checked and carry-on bags.

Passengers are permitted one piece of free hand luggage up to 7kg. This item must not exceed the dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20cm.
In addition, passengers can take with them onboard a personal item, such as a coat, umbrella, book or child’s travel cradle.

Passengers are also allowed 1 x 23kg of checked luggage, free of charge.

At the airport, the check-in desk opens 2-3 hours before the flight is due to depart. This will close 45 minutes before the flight departure time.

SkyUp Airlines add two more aircraft to its fleet
SkyUp Airlines will take in two new aircraft this month. The airline has received one A330-200 aircraft which it will wet-lease from Egyptian airline, Air Leisure, and has already used to operate services from 9 junio 2018. The second aircraft is a B737-600, which it will receive later in the month.
These two new aircraft will join its fleet that currently consists of two B737-800s which fly between Ukraine and the Mediterranean. SkyUpAirlines has a further two B737 MAX 8s and three B737 MAX10s on order which are expected to be delivered in the next five years.

SkyUp Airlines receives brand new aircraft
SkyUp Airlines has received its first plane, a B737-800, according to Skyliner Aviation. The aircraft was delivered from storage at Marana via Quebéc and Reykjavik to Istanbul, Turkey. The Privately owned Ukrainian low-cost carrier is expecting two more aircraft to enter its fleet this year. SkyUp airlines have a rapid expansion plan to take it through to 2022 seeing it's fleet grows every year. The international flights operated by the new airline will focus on typical leisure destinations from the time being. Countries such as Italy and Bulgaria will be serviced on behalf of the company's parent, tour operator, JoinUp! SkyUp Airlines will also service passengers wishing to take domestic routes. Eventually, the company plans to develop a strong network of low-cost European flights.
