Spot Group is an international airline and aviation company that specialises in charter broker, as well as other flight services. The company is based internationally, with headquarters in Cairo, Dubai and Hannover and sells commercial charter and scheduled flights flying throughout the Middle East, Gulf, Africa and Europe.
The company primarily offers charter broker services, providing airline clients with fleets and branded aircraft to run charter flights and connecting them with customers from around the world. Spot Group also sells scheduled flights, acting as a central point to buy flights on a variety of airlines that it has partnered with. The company doesn't operate any flights itself and isn't an airline. Instead, it sells airline tickets on behalf of other airlines.
Spot Group has existed for more than 15 years and in its time active has provided a variety of services, including holiday charter flights, flights for religious pilgrimages such as Hajj and Umrah and medical and rescue flights.
Spot Group partners with a range of carriers across the world, selling flights on their behalf. This includes:
Including its charter services, Spot Group sells tickets to a huge number of destinations flying worldwide. The following destinations are destinations that it sells tickets to on behalf of airlines that are scheduled services:
|Erfurt||Erfurt Weimar Airport||ERF|
|Sharm El-Sheikh||Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport||SSH|
|Tenerife||Tenerife Airport South||TFS|
The baggage allowance for each individual flight will differ depending on which airline is operating the flight and the route that they're flying.
If passengers book their ticket with Alternative Airlines, we display the free baggage allowance at the time of booking, as well as on the e-ticket that is sent out after completing a booking.
Depending on the airline flying the flight, Spot Group can provide flights on all cabin classes, including Economy Class, Premium Economy, Business Class and First Class.
Although the service will differ depending on which airline the ticket is sold on, passengers can expect the usual from each cabin class. Economy Class offers the most basic service, with a few extra benefits included. Whereas First Class offers the most complete flight experience, with the most attentive service and many extra benefits such as exclusive meal services, priority boarding, airport lounge access and much more.
On charter flights, the cabins might be different. For example, on smaller private charter planes, the plane might only feature one cabin but this cabin will have a private business jet style cabin, with large seats and lots of space for each passenger.
Food and drink services will differ depending on the airline that the flight is sold on. However, the vast majority of airlines will offer some kind of in-flight food and drink service, which will be available to order from the airline's in-flight menu after take-off.
Some airlines might offer a full meal service, whereas others will offer light refreshments. If an airline offers a full meal service with the option to pre-book, this will be available at the time of booking.
In-flight entertainment and WIFI might be available on flights from certain airlines but won't be available for all airlines.
In-flight entertainment is typically available on long-haul flights, with an in-flight entertainment system for each individual passenger, built into the back of seats.
WIFI can be available on both short-haul and long-haul flights. However, it may come at a charge.
Whether online check-in is available will depend on each individual airline that Spot Group sells flights on behalf. Online check-in will be available on the airline's website.
Airport check-in is available for all customers on any airline. Passengers will need to check-in at the airport in the hours leading up to their flight. Check-in times will differ depending on each airline. As a general rule, domestic flight check-in times are much shorter than international flight check-in times.
Spot Group has a varied fleet that it leases out to its airline partner, with commercial planes such as the Airbus 320, Airbus 340-212, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 777-200, McDonnell Douglas MD83, Dash 8 Q400, Airbus 330-243.
It also owns private jets such as the Cessna Sovereign Citation 680 and Hawker 850XP and air ambulances such as the Cessna Sovereign Citation 680 and King Air 350.
As it's not an airline, Spot Group doesn't have a hub airport.
