Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport
Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, also referred to as Springfield Airport (IATA Code: SPI), is a civil and military airport in Sangamon County, Illinois, USA. The airport is owned by the Springfield Airport Authority (SAA).
From SPI, three airlines currently operate domestic and regional flights within Illinois and the USA. These airlines are United Express, American Eagle, and Allegiant Air.
Location
SPI is three miles (6 km) northwest of downtown Springfield.
Facilities
The airport is small, and houses a single restaurant and gift shop.
Facilities Include:
WiFi: WiFi is available to passengers for free within the terminal building.
ATMs: An ATM cash machine is available.
Shopping: Duty free shopping is not available. The airport does have a gift shop, which is located Landside, which sells gifts, travel accessories, books and souvenirs. The staff in the gift shop also provide information services and can also help with your ticket reservation, Sky Club membership information, and local tourist information.
Eating and Drinking: The only eating option is a Subway. The airport's gift shop also sells snacks and cold drinks.
Postal Services: A United States Postal Service mailbox is available for sending letters.
Telephone: A coin operated pay phone is located close to the washrooms.

The Sky Club: The Sky Club is the airport's single lounge, which is accessed via an membership annual fee. Benefits include preferred parking close to the main terminal doors, complimentary beverages and internet access. For individual memberships, there is a fee of $150.00 (annual) per person.
Runways
The airport has three runways: 4/22 measures 8,001 by 150 feet (2,439 x 46 m); 13/31 measures 7,400 by 150 feet (2,256 x 46 m); and 18/36 measures 5,300 by 150 feet (1,615 x 46 m). The airport covers 2,300 acres (930 ha).
Terminals
The airport consists of a single small terminal building and small number of gates.
Baggage Claim is located towards the east end of the terminal, near to the car rental agencies (by door D).

How to get to SPI Springfield Airport
By Car Rental:
Car rental desks are located at the east end of the terminal. There are a number of onsite car rental agencies, including: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.
By Taxi:
Taxis can be picked up outside the airport.
