About Starbow Airlines
Starbow was a Ghanaian airline located in Ghana and it's hub airport is based in Accra. The airline's official name was Aero Surveys Limited and is the largest Ghanaian airline by passengers carried, with destinations to Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Temale, Sunyani and Monrovia. Another airline operating in Ghana is PassionAir.
Starbow helped change a previously held perception that flying domestically was the preserve of the rich and affluent in society. Starbow operated 46 departures a week and held the largest market share of any carrier in the markets it operated in.
Aero Surveys Limited was incorporated in October 1995 and begun trading under the name Starbow in 2011. In September 2016, Starbow Airlines announced that it was resuming the Accra - Tamale operations which started on 30th September 2016. In August 2016, Starbow Airlines announced that it has resumed operations from 11th August 2016.
