About Swazi Airways

Swazi Airways was an airline based in Swaziland, Africa. This airline was based in King Mswati III International Airport, Manzini and was the national flag carrier of Swaziland.

Swazi Airways was formed in 2016 by the Swaziland Government in an attempt to revive the newly built King Mswati III International Airport. It was also founded to replace the former flag carrier of Swaziland, Royal Swazi National Airways. The airline had planned to commence flying operations in noviembre 2016, but unfortunately closed down in julio 2017.

King Mswati III International Airport, previously known as Sikhuphe International Airport, is an airport located in Manzini, Eswatini, Swaziland. It was originally built in 2003 and replaced Matsapha Airport.

The airport cost $150m to build, with flights not commencing until 2014.
