Taban Air is an Iranian airline that offers both scheduled and charter passenger flights. The airline is based at Mashad International Airport and mainly offers domestic flights within Iran, as well as to other destinations in West and Central Asia. Overall, the airline flies to over 20 destinations.
The airline launched in 2006 when it flew its first service with internal flights within Iran. In the years following, the airline launched international flights to other destinations within Asia including Armenia, Georgia, Iraq and the UAE.

Mashad International Airport (MHD), also known as Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport, is an international airport in Mashad, Iran and the hub airport for Taban Air. Mashad International is the second busiest airport in Iran after Mehrabad International in Tehran. Taban Air has used Mashad International as its hub since it launched flights in 2006, however, it does also have secondary hubs at Kish Airport (KIH) and Mehrabad International (THR)
Aside from Taban Air, the airport is also a hub for Iran Aseman Airlines. Several other airlines fly to/from the airport, including Air Arabia, Caspian Airlines, flydubai, Iraqi Airways, Meraj Airlines, Saha Airlines, Wings of Lebanon, Zagros Airlines and more.
