Historia

Transaero was a Russian airline founded in 1990 and with its head office in Saint Petersburg. The airline ended operations in 2015.

Transaero Airlines filed for bankruptcy in octubre 2015 and ceased all operations on 15 diciembre 2015. The airline operated to a total of 103 destinations around the world.

These destinations include Moscow, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Kiev, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Malta, Miami, Odesa, Paphos, Prague, Punta Cana, Rhodes, Phuket, Riga, Shanghai, Samara, Taipei and many others.

blue flight info logo Prior to Transaero's Airlines closure, it had a wide selection of fleet of Boeing and Tupolev aircraft. Transaero Airlines had 4 types of classes: Tourist Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business/Premium Class and Imperial Class. In septiembre 2015, Aeroflot had agreed to acquire 75% of Transaero Airlines' debt for a nominal amount, however, in octubre 2015 Aeroflot decided to withdraw this offer.
