Trigana Air is an Indonesian airline that offers flights throughout Indonesia. The airline is based at Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport (HLP), although, at the moment, doesn't fly out of Jakarta. Most of its flights fly out of Dortheys Hiyo Eluay International Airport (DJJ). Trigana Air flies to more than 5 destinations across Indonesia on a regularly scheduled basis. The airline has been flying since 1991. When it first launched, it didn't fly as a commercial airline and instead, was used for aerial photography. It launched cargo and charter flights in 1993 and it wasn't until mid-2001 that the airline started flying regularly scheduled flights. Since launching scheduled flights, it has always served destinations within the Indonesian islands, flying to many different destinations over the years.
The airline is great for flying specific routes that other Indonesian airlines don't serve such as between Merauke (MKQ) and Tanah Merah (TMH).
