The baggage allowance on board Tropical Air flights was a maximum of 15kg per person and the bags were required to be soft due to the small size of the aircraft. Carry-on baggage could weigh no more than 5kg and any excess baggage that wanted to be brought onboard, would be charged at a rate of $3 per extra kilo.

The Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) is the main airport on the island of Zanzibar, after once being named Zanzibar International Airport, it was renamed to what it is today after the island's first president. There are 3 terminals in the airport, all serving different purposes - Terminal 1 is currently inactive, Terminal 2 active for all landing craft, and Terminal 3 serves international flights.
