About US Bangla Airlines

US-Bangla Airlines is a Bangladeshi airline based at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC), Dhaka. The airline launched in julio 2014, initially operating to only two domestic cities within Bangladesh — Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP), Chittagong, and Jessore Airport (JSR), Jessore. Before the end of the year, US-Bangla Airlines doubled its flight network, launching international flights to both Cox's Bazar Airport (CXB), Cox's Bazar, and Saidpur Airport (SPD), Saidpur.

In julio 2016 — two years after the airline's launch — US-Bangla Airlines launched its first services to international destinations, such as Singapore and Dubai. The airlines now flies to a total of 14 different destinations from its hub in Dhaka, made up of seven domestic cities and seven international cities. The Bangladeshi carrier's fleet currently consists of 4 Boeing 737-800 and 3 Bombardier Q400 aircraft, with three more of each on order.

 


Fleet

US-Banga Airlines currently operates a fleet of three Dash 8-400s and four B737-800 aircraft. The airline will add three ATR72-600s to its fleet in 2019.

Passengers flying with US-Bangla Airlines are allowed one item of carry-on baggage per customer. The baggage must be no heavier than the 7 kilogram weight allowance and must not exceed the dimensions of 15 x 22 x 3 cm (6 x 8 x 14 in). This applies for adults, children, and infants on both international and domestic flights.

 

Equipaje Facturado

On international flights, US-Bangla Airlines passengers are allowed one item of checked baggage per customer. Economy class passengers checked baggage must not exceed 20 kilograms in weight, while Business class passengers have a 30 kilogram weight allowance. This applies for both adults and children. Infants baggage must not exceed the weight of 10 kilograms for both Business and Economy class. All baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 40 x 60 x 100 cm (15x24x40 in).

On domestic flights, adult and children for all classes are allowed 20 kilograms of checked baggage. Infants are allowed 10 kilogram of checked baggage. All checked baggage must not exceed the dimensons of 40 x 60 x 100 cm (15x24x40 in).

US-Bangla Airlines take flight to China

On Thursday, US-Bangla Airlines will fly its first service between its airport hub Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN). The Bangladeshi airline will be the first airline in the country to offer a service to China. The airline will operate the service three times a week on Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and will use a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight is expected to take 3 hours and 40 minutes.

 

US-Bangla Airlines General Manager Islam has said that Bangladesh has a good relationship with China and he is happy that Bangladesh will finally operate flights to China. He added that he hopes that the Chinese public will like the new service too.
