Vancouver Island Air is a Vancouver Island seaplane carrier that operates scheduled flights out of its hub base, Campbell River Airport (YBL) in the British Columbia Coast, Canada. The airline was founded in 1985 and has been in operation since, offering both charter and scheduled services with a single and multi-engine aircraft on floats. The airline received media attention during the 2010 Winter Olympics which was hosted by the city of Vancouver.

The airline's baggage includes all bags, carry-ons, laptop bags, purses and other items. All baggage must be weighed.
Vancouver Island AIr passengers are permitted to take 15 kg of baggage per person and not exceed 110 linear centimetres (length + width + height). Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate.

The airport is located in the 8.3 km south of Campbell River. The airport can currently handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.
