Vancouver Island Air is a Vancouver Island seaplane carrier that operates scheduled flights out of its hub base, Campbell River Airport (YBL) in the British Columbia Coast, Canada. The airline was founded in 1985 and has been in operation since, offering both charter and scheduled services with a single and multi-engine aircraft on floats. The airline received media attention during the 2010 Winter Olympics which was hosted by the city of Vancouver.
