Who can create a Venmo account?
To create a personal account, users must be a resident of the United States, or one of its territories

How to create a Venmo account
It is easy to create a Venmo account via a mobile app or website by providing basic information and bank account information. Recipients of transactions can be found quickly, either via phone number, Venmo username, or email.
Users will have a Venmo balance that is used for transactions. Bank accounts, debit cards, or credit cards, can be linked to Venmo accounts. Alternatively, users can order a Venmo MasterCard and pay through the card.
If a user does not have enough funds in the Venmo account when making a transaction, the funds will automatically be withdrawn from the registered bank account or card.
When users first create an account, total transactions cannot exceed $299.99. This is until their identity is verified. After identity verification, users can send up to $2,999.99 in each seven day period.

Does Venmo charge a fee?
Alternative Airlines is an authorised merchant. Users do not pay a fee to Venmo when making a payment to an authorized merchant from a linked bank account, debit card or your Venmo balance. Venmo doesn't charge for basic services like sending money. It is free to receive and withdraw money into your Venmo account. Standard transfer to your bank account is free.
Venmo has no monthly or annual fees.
What if i don’t have enough money in my Venmo account?
When your available Venmo balance can’t cover the entire amount of a particular transaction, Venmo will use your preferred payment method.
Users can separate preferred payment methods for paying friends, purchases from authorized merchants, and Venmo Mastercard reloads. Payment methods, including selecting preferred payment methods, can me managed in the Payment Methods section of your Venmo account settings.
Can I make a purchase using my Venmo account from my computer?
Currently, purchasing with Venmo is only available on mobile devices through apps or mobile web browsers that are approved to offer Venmo as a payment option.
