About Walya Airways

Walya Airways is a new private airline, based at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in Ethiopia.

The aim of the airline is to perform scheduled and charter operations from Ethiopia.

Walya Airways currently offers scheduled flights from Addis Ababa to destinations within neighbouring Somalia.




As of mayo 2019, the new airline flies from Addis Ababa Bole International (ADD), in Ethiopia, to the following locations:


Bosaso (BSA)

Garowe (GGR)

Hargeisa (HGA)

Mogadishu (MGQ)

Walya Airways have bought one ERJ-145 aircraft and have another one ERJ-135 on the way to join the operation.

The ERJ-145 aircraft has a maximum capacity of 50 passengers.
