Historia

XeJet is a business class only airline based in Nigeria. The airline is based at Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) and flies to Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt. As a Business Class only airline, XeJet focuses on delivering a premium service but at better value than traditional Business Class cabins. The airline's ultimate goal is to make Business Class flying more affordable to more people.

The airline launched flights in 2021 with a service from Lagos to Abuja and rolled out the rest of its route network, adding flights to Kano and Port Harcourt in the same year.

Destinos

At the moment, XeJet only offers domestic flights within Nigeria. It flies from Lagos to Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt.

Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport ABV
Kano Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport KAN
Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport LOS
Port Harcourt Port Harcourt International Airport PHC

Equipaje

Baggage allowances haven't been announced for the airline yet. However, as a business class airline, it's expected that the airline will offer both free carry-on and free checked baggage as part of the fare.

Clase económica

As a business class only airline, XeJet unsurprisingly flies with just one cabin — Business Class.

Business

As the cabin takes up the whole plane, XeJet's Business Class cabin is much larger than most business class cabins. However, passengers can still expect the same great service, with an attentive cabin crew and a luxury experience.

Asientos

Seats are set out in a 2 x 2 configuration in a space that's designed for 3 x 3 economy class seats. This means that each passenger can enjoy extra large seats and more legroom.

Food & Drink

Passengers can enjoy complimentary food and drink throughout their flight. Food is served on real plates, with metal cutlery. Drinks are served in glassware.

Due to the short flight times, full three-course meals aren't available on domestic flights.

WIFI

Complimentary WIFI is given to customers on each flight, allowing passengers to stay connected to life on the ground and catch up with work and check emails. Or, if they're in need of a little down time, they can browse the web as usual.

Programa de viajero frecuente

QMiles

QMiles is the name, or currency, of XeJet's frequent flyer program. The program is simple — passengers accrue points every time that they fly with the airline. These miles can then be spent on flights with XeJet in the future. The airline does offer some other additional benefits for its program but, as the airline offers a premium service on its flights as standard, there aren't as many additional benefits as some other airline's programs.

For example, many frequent flyer programs offer extra luggage, priority check-in and lounge access as part fo their program benefits. However, as a business class airline, XeJet already offers many of these perks included within the price of the ticket.

Flota

The airline has a fleet of B737 planes. These planes are usually used by commercial airlines that have economy class cabins. The planes have been re-kitted to be laid out in a 2 x 2 configuration, giving comfort and luxury to all passengers.

Aeropuerto Principal

Murtala Muhammed International Airport

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) is the main airport in Nigeria. It's located in the countries capital, Lagos, and is the hub airport for XeJet. As a business class airline, XeJet chose to base itself out of Lagos as its the main destination in Nigeria that business travellers will be looking to fly in and out of. The airline has been based there since its launch in 2021. At this time, there's no plans for the airline to set-up a secondary base.

Most other Nigerian airlines use Lagos Airport as a base, including Aero Contractors, Arik Air, Azman Air, Med-View Airline, Air Peace Hopper, Dana Air and Ibom Air.

Alternative Airlines

Air Peace and Arik Air are 2 airlines that fly very similar routes to XeJet, including from Lagos to Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt. Although, they both offer an economy class cabin for passengers that want to fly at a cheaper price.
