In 2015, Yangtze River Express rebranded to Suparna Airlines.
Before Yangtze River Express became Suparna Airlines, it offered both passenger and cargo services around China, Russia and several European cities.
Yangtze River Express was first founded in 2003 and was the second cargo airline in China at the time. The airline took over all cargo operations from Hainan Airlines, China Xinhua Airlines, Chang An Airlines and Shanxi Airlines.
In 2017, Yangtze River Express rebranded to Suparna Airlines.

Shanghai Pudong International Airport is an international airport located in Shanghai, China. Pudong Airport is a major aviation hub in East Asia, serving both international and domestic flights in the region. The airport is a hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Air China and China Southern Airlines. Privately owned Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines also use the airport as a hub.
