Yellow Wings is a Kenyan charter airline, with its base of operations in Nairobi. The airline was founded in 1996 but received its certification and first aircraft in 1998 allowing the airline to begin operations. The airline slowly grew in popularity and welcomed a greater number of aircraft to its fleet from 2014 and further expanded its route map across easter Africa. The airline operates a fleet of Cessna C208B G1000 Caravan aircraft.

The airline doesn't specify whether passengers are entitled to bring cabin baggage with them. However, it is assumed that this will be permitted and that you will be allowed to bring 1 small personal item to fit under the seat in front of you.

As the airline operates small regional aircraft, there is only a single cabin installed. This means that all passengers can expect the same seat onboard the aircraft. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you can expect complimentary lounge access with drinks and snacks included. The airline also allows you to use their satellite phones onboard the aircraft for free (for the first 3 minutes).
Inflight entertainment and wifi haven't been installed on the airlines fleet. However, Yellow Wings does offer satellite phones onboard for you to use. The first 3 minutes are complimentary and anything after this comes at an additional charge.
Yellow Wings don't provide complimentary drinks and snacks onboard as due to the aircraft size there is no crew onboard. However, at check-in, the airline offers some complimentary food and drink.

Wilson Airport (WIL) acts as the hub airport for Yellow Wings as well as Airkenya Express, Baracuda Airways, Safarilink, Fly-sax and Aircraft Leasing Services. The airport is a small regional airport in Nairobi and smaller than the cities major international hub. Wilson airport serves under 1 million passengers annually and operates with 2 runways. The airport doesn't have any public transport links connecting the airport to Nairobi, meaning private transfers will be required.
