Zambia Airlines is a newly formed airline, currently in the very early stages of start-up and is set to begin operating lights from 30 septiembre 2021. It's the newest flag carrier for Zambia offering domestic and regional routes. Zambia has the backing of Ethiopian Airlines who has a stake in the airline, providing the airline with a fleet of aircraft, pilots and crew.

The airline will begin operations with a fleet of three aircraft, consisting of two DHC Dash-8-Q400s and one Boeing 737-800.

Zambia Airlines will plan to operate 4 regularly scheduled flights within Zambia. These destinations include Lusaka, Livingstone, Ndola and Solwezi.

Zambia Airlines has yet to publish an announcement regarding recommended check-in times. However, in most instances, it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before scheduled departure.

This information has yet to be announced. In all instances, passengers must ensure that their baggage complies with the airline's policy, otherwise may face excess baggage fees at the airport. When you book your seats through Alternative Airlines, it is easy to add an additional baggage allowance to your booking (if permitted by the airline).

Lusaka Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN) is a large international airport serving the city of Lusaka, in Zambia. It is located about 16 miles northeast of the city centre of Lusaka. As well as being a hub for Zambia Airlines, the airport is a hub for Proflight Zambia and Mahogany Air.
